After long flights, we arrive safely at Ben Gurion Airport. We are met by our Tour Guides and taken by bus to our first sightseeing locations.

We injoyed visiting the old city of Jaffa... the location where Jonah got on the boat to Tarshish, and where Peter raised Tabitha (Dorcas) from the dead. We saw the location of Simon the tanner's house, where Peter stayed while in Jopppa. Pastor Steve reminded us of how both Peter & Simon the tanner were "outcasts" in their day, and how God called them, and us also, to minister to the outcasts... that what God has cleansed, we must not consider unclean.

We also saw examples of ancient water vessels, similar to the ones in which Jesus changed water to wine when in Cana. And we enjoyed a beautiful sunset on the Mediterranean Sea before going to our hotel in Netanya, where we enjoyed dinner together and a welcome rest from our travels.

We're looking forward to our trip tomorrow morning to Cesarea by the Sea and the upper Galilee area.

Greetings and blessings to our church family back home. We wish you could all be here with us now!
